Dr. Ralf Engelschall

is the CTO of the msg-Group and head of msg-Research. In his role as CTO, his work focuses on artificial intelligence, agentic computing, and cloud computing. He is also one of the founders of the Software Engineering Academy (SEA), OpenSSL, and the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). He was awarded the 2023 GI Balzert Prize and the 2018 Ernst Denert Prize for Software Engineering. He also teaches software architecture at the Technical University of Munich.
