Dr. Thomas Dietz

has headed the Banking Audits Division at the Deutsche Bundesbank's Berlin and Brandenburg headquarters since 2015. He is also an honorary professor of microprudential banking supervision at the University of Finance and Management in Bonn. Dr. Dietz has been involved in banking supervision for over 25 years, working for BaFin, the Bundesbank, and the EBA (then known as CEBS). Dr. Dietz regularly speaks at academic and practical conferences and is the author of various publications on liquidity risks, international financial crises, EU banking supervision (EBA and ECB), and 44 audits within the framework of MaRisk. Most recently, he has been focusing on the topic of sustainable finance.
