Financial crime compliance is changing fast. Institutions are moving away from siloed, rule‑only monitoring towards integrated, data‑driven and decision‑centric approaches. In this interactive session, experts from msg discuss four key innovation drivers and how they come together in a modern AFC operating model:

  • Converged Intelligence that breaks up AML, fraud and conduct silos and combines expert rules, machine learning and graph analytics.
  • Entity‑centric, perpetual risk assessment that keeps customer and counterparty risk profiles up to date and truly risk‑based.
  • Data‑ and investigation‑centric architectures that enable real‑time detection and efficient, investigator‑led workflows.
  • Decision‑centric and augmented compliance, where alerts become prioritised, explainable decisions across all three lines of defence.

Dirk Findeisen is bringing together, Emanuel Gedeon (Advisory), Alexander Stein (Solution Consulting) and Martin Wagner (Digital Compliance Services) to share perspectives from strategy, technology implementation and digital/outsourced delivery, including concrete examples of how international institutions are using automation, AI and cloud‑based services to make AFC more effective and scalable.

Attendees will get practical insights on where to start, how to connect existing initiatives and which design choices really matter when shaping „the modern art of compliance“ for their own organisation.

This event is designed for senior professionals and decision-makers in financial crime compliance, fraud, risk and transformation at banks and financial institutions.
