Your speakers
What is currently happening in the IReF project?
The publication of an implementation plan, scheduled by the supervisory authority for the end of 2025, has been delayed so far. We expect it to be published in the coming weeks.
In addition, a draft ECB regulation on IReF is currently being prepared. This draft regulation will first be subject to public consultation before being adopted by the ECB Governing Council. As a result of this regulation, the relevant existing ECB regulations will be repealed or at least amended in the foreseeable future. We expect this to be published in the first half of 2026.
At the 6th community meeting, our experts – Petra Furggler and Andreas Reeb – will present the latest developments on the topic of IReF. You can also look forward to another exciting guest lecture.
Together, we will classify new requirements, explain their impact on processes and reporting, and provide guidance for your institution.
