The clock is ticking: the DTAZV era will come to an end in November 2026. This means that banks will no longer accept traditional DTAZV files and will instead require ISO 20022 version 2019 – including hybrid addresses. Similarly, SEPA formats must be migrated to pain.001.001.09 (credit transfers) and pain.008.001.08 (direct debits). Anyone who fails to convert their formats in good time – particularly in the SAP environment – risks payment rejections and even insolvency.
