Regulatory capital costs in pricing with MARZIPAN

As part of a live demo, you will get to know the EKKKSA performance level of our MARZIPAN solution and its contribution to taking into account the EBA guidelines on lending and monitoring (EBA/GL/2020/06). Using a calculation example, you will see directly in the software how the economic and regulatory capital costs are calculated in the contribution margin scheme in MARZIPAN and learn from our experts how the bottleneck principle of economic and regulatory capital can be taken into account in the preliminary calculation.

In this live demo, we will present the calculation of regulatory capital costs in pricing directly in the new MARZIPAN service level EKKKSA. The focus will be on the following topics:

  • Calculation and parameterization of MARZIPAN, including determination
    • of the regulatory capital to be held
    • for economic and regulatory capital costs
    • Ratios such as RORAC, RAROC and RORWA
  • Institution-specific consideration of the capital strategy using dynamic excess return claims and capital ratios
  • Simple integration of the new EKKKSA service level in MARZIPAN and in your bank’s credit process

You will also have the opportunity to discuss your questions directly with our experts.

The event is aimed at managers from the specialist areas of costing, risk management and controlling as well as interested employees from the financial services sector.

When registering on Banking.Vision , we use ‘magic link’ technology. This means that you fill in the registration form (we only need a few details from you) and then receive a registration link from us. By clicking on it, you confirm that you wish to register. Our online events usually take place with Microsoft Teams. You will receive an access link with a telephone dial-in option; it is not necessary to install the Microsoft Teams application.We would be pleased if you switch on your camera. Please check the following Microsoft Teams system requirements in good time before the start of the event and observe the following recommendations: Use a desktop PC or a notebook/laptop to participate in your online event.

Please use a headset with an integrated microphone. If participating on a notebook/laptop, we recommend using the integrated camera; if participating on a desktop PC, an external webcam is recommended. We reserve the right to cancel the event due to insufficient demand or number of participants. Cancellations at short notice are also possible for other important reasons for which we are not responsible, such as sudden illness of the speaker or force majeure. Participation fees already paid by you will of course be refunded. You will be informed immediately in the event of cancellation. Further liability and compensation claims arising from the cancellation or change to the event that do not relate to injury to life, limb or health are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part.
